in Pharma/Biotech News

This notice was posted in the official USP website under general announcements on 22nd December.

Words from the USP website “USP–NF users should note that the following USP Heparin and Enoxaparin monograph IRAs appearing in Pharmacopeial Forum (PF) 35(5) and conforming Revision Bulletins posted on the USP Web site are currently official and supersede the text printed in United States Pharmacopeia 33 and the National Formulary 28 (USP 33–NF 28) (see notice). Note also that the Heparin and Enoxaparin monographs printed in USP 33–NF 28 reflect the redesigned monograph style introduced in that publication, which was intended to bring consistency to the language used throughout the USP–NF and make the monographs easier to use. The Heparin and Enoxparin IRAs and Revision Bulletins listed below will be incorporated into the USP 33–NF 28 First Supplement, which becomes available in February 2010. At that time, these monographs will appear in the redesigned format, which differs in format from the currently posted monographs but not in content.”
