The General Notices and Requirements section of the United States Pharmacopeia and the National Formulary (USP–NF) were recently revised in USP 32–NF 27. In the past several years since those revisions were originally undertaken, a number of new issues have been identified, as well as renewed interest in addressing previously considered issues. The proposal, which will appear in Pharmacopeial Forum 36(1) (January–February 2010) outlines proposed changes and various issues for consideration in the next round of revisions to General Notices and Requirements. Comments on this proposal are due April 15, 2010. Submit your comments to generalnotices@usp.org.

*Explanatory Note for General Notices appearing in PF 36(1) (49KB)
